Installation Guidelines
Surface Preparation
The installation surface must be:
- Trowel-finished and structurally sound
- Clean and free from contamination
- Dry and free from standing water
Fixing Procedure
- Secure injection and vent hoses using JYOTI hose clips and accessories
- Maintain 200-250mm spacing between fixings to prevent floating during concrete pour
- Install sealing caps at vent hose ends to prevent concrete ingress
Injection Process (After 28-Day Concrete Cure)
- Locate vent hose and remove sealing cap
- Attach appropriate injection nipples and accessories
- Fill hose with injection material until flow appears at opposite end
- Plug the end and pressurize the system
- Maintain pressure for 5 minutes after injection with no pressure loss
- Repeat procedure from opposite end for even distribution
Pro Tip
Better results are achieved using moderate pressure over longer duration rather than high pressure for short periods. For optimal performance, concrete should be minimum 28 days old before injection.
